The following works of art shown below originate from the visual research carried out within the kinetic and programmed art trend of the 1960s by the Gruppo MID of which I was a co-founder.
These new works of art all share one aspect, among many in common, that defined Gruppo MID’s research: interactivity.
That is to say, the possibility for the user to interact by changing the formal and compositional aspect of the work of art.
This work of art consists of twelve sliding bars which, through horizontal sliding, allow multiple articulations of shapes.
The user can therefore manually change the compositional aspect of the work as shown below by some of the countless possible examples.
